Uber App: FAQ
Fixes for the most common Uber App problems, from the app missing on the phone to rides that cannot be started or finished.
Turn on Debug first
With Debug = true, the script prints every step to the console: framework detection, database setup, requests,
start codes, payments and notifications. It is the fastest way to find a problem.
Your server key and the purchase are on different Cfx.re accounts. See Escrow errors.
qbx_core, qb-core or es_extended is not running, or hype-uber-app starts before it. Move ensure hype-uber-app
below your framework in server.cfg.
lb-phone must be running; the app is added a second after lb-phone starts. Look for Failed to add the lb-phone
app in the client console. With App.defaultApp = false, players install it from the App Store first.
The database setup failed, so the script never became ready. Check the server console for Could not create the
database tables and run sql/install.sql by hand.
The driver must be signed up as a driver, have the driver role active and be online. Check Driver.DispatchRadius
(0 = whole map). While a driver views a request, new request alerts pause for Driver.ReviewTimeout.
A request cannot be accepted by the same character that sent it. Test with two characters or two players.
Driver.RequireVehicle is true. Get in the driver seat of any vehicle, or set it to false.
Photos are uploaded by lb-phone, so its media upload (e.g. Fivemanage) must be set up. If PhotoAllowedHosts is
filled, the upload host must be in the list. To let drivers sign up without a photo, set
Registration.RequireDriverPhoto = false.
With Registration.UsePhoneNumber = true, the driver's phone number comes from the equipped lb-phone. Make sure the
player has a phone with a number, or set it to false to let them type it.
The rider tapped My ride is here while the driver was further than Trip.PickupRadius (default: 40 m).
The driver must be within Trip.DestinationTolerance of the destination, and with
Trip.CheckCustomerAtDestination the rider too. The ride route wasn't completed means the driven distance is
below Trip.MinTravelledRatio of the straight distance.
Fares and tips go to the in-app wallet. Drivers withdraw it from the Wallet tab to Wallet.WithdrawAccount.
The other party is notified and the trip waits Trip.DisconnectGrace seconds. If the player does not return, the
trip is cancelled and a charged fare is refunded with Payment.RefundOnCancel.
Yes. Change App.name, App.developer and App.description for the App Store listing and UI.accent for the
color. The app name in the texts comes from the locale file.
Set setr ox:locale "tr" (or another code) in server.cfg. See Locales.
Download the new version, replace the folder and keep your config/config.lua. New tables are created on their own.
Check the changelog for any new options.
