Escrow errors
Most escrow errors come from the server key, the account or the server artifact.
| Error | Fix |
|---|---|
You lack the required entitlement | Your server key belongs to a different Cfx.re account than the purchase. Create a key on that account. |
Failed to verify protected resource | Update your server artifact to a recent recommended build. |
Syntax error near '<\1>' | The files were uploaded over FTP in text mode. Upload them again in binary mode. |
Checking your server key
Your server key is set in server.cfg. It must be created on portal.cfx.re with the account that owns the script.

Anyone with your key can start a server with your purchased assets.
