Trucker Job: FAQ
Fixes for the most common Trucker Job problems, from missing tables and spawn points to licenses, permissions, NPC workers and closed businesses.
Turn on Debug first
With Config.Debug = true, the script prints every step to the console: database setup, business loading, route
starts and the reason a route was refused, payments, fleet wear and NPC jobs. It is the fastest way to find a problem.
Your server key and the purchase are on different Cfx.re accounts. See Escrow errors.
hype-core is missing, renamed or starts after hype-truckerjob. Download it from portal.cfx.re (it comes with
the purchase), keep the folder name hype-core and put ensure hype-core above ensure hype-truckerjob, below
your framework.
INSTALL/install.sql was not run, so the business, employee and stats tables do not exist. The script only creates
the invoice, loan, challenge and NPC worker tables by itself. Run install.sql once and restart the resource.
MySQL 8.0+ or MariaDB 10.2+ is required, older versions fail on the recent activity queries.
The tablet is opened through the target option on the business NPC. ox_target or qb-target must be running before
hype-core. Check that ped.enable is true for that business in Config.BusinessLocations.
Only business 1 ships with locations. Add truckSpawn (and trailerSpawn for routes with a trailer) to the
other businesses. See Business locations.
A vehicle, player or object is standing on truckSpawn or trailerSpawn. Clear the spot and start the route again.
For forklift routes, at least one of the forklift spawnCoords must be free.
RequiredDriverLicense is on and the license is read from your framework: the licences metadata on QBox and
QBCore, or esx_license on ESX (which must be running). Make sure RequiredDriverLicense.type matches the license
name your server gives, for example the one your driving school uses. Set enable = false to drop the check.
Each route needs the exact truck and trailer in its requirements. Buy them in the Vehicles page with business
cash. If you edit routes, the hash must exist in Config.Vehicles or Config.Trailers.
A vehicle on a route or an NPC job cannot be used twice, so buy a second copy if several drivers need the same
model. Trucks need at least Fleet.minFuelToStart fuel and at most Fleet.maxDamageToStart damage. Refuel and
repair them in the Garage.
Route minLevel is the player level. With the defaults (PlayerXPPerLevel = 10000, 10 to 50 XP per delivery) it
takes many deliveries to level up. Lower PlayerXPPerLevel or raise ExperienceDetails if it is too slow for your
server. Vehicles and NPC workers use the business level instead.
Pages and actions follow the role's Config.DefaultPermissions, or the custom permissions set for that employee in
the Employees page. The owner always has every permission. Withdrawing cash and taking loans are Boss only by
default.
The player must stand within 10 meters of you and not work for the business yet. You need manage-employees and can
only hire roles below your own. The job offer expires after 60 seconds.
A route fails when the time runs out (RouteTimeLimit), when the driver dies (RouteAbandon.failOnDeath) or stays
more than RouteAbandon.maxDistance from the truck for graceSeconds. A route point was reached too fast or from
the wrong place comes from RouteAntiCheat; it is off by default.
Damage cuts the pay (DamagePayCut, up to 50%) and a good rating adds a bonus (DeliveryRating.bonusPercent).
The driver then gets their commission and the rest goes to the business cash. The owner keeps 100%, so the business
cash grows from employees' and NPC workers' deliveries.
The business needs a free truck (and trailer) for the route, the worker's level must be at least the route's
minLevel, and you need manage-npc-workers. A worker can only run one job at a time.
Their wage invoice stayed unpaid for NPCWorkers.wages.quitAfterOverdueDays after the due date. A worker that quits
loses their levels and trained skills.
Rent.closeAfterOverdue rent invoices or Loans.closeAfterOverdue loan installments were left unpaid. Players who
can pay invoices get a warning one invoice before. Admins can mark rent as paid or extend it from /truckeradmin.
You need withdraw-balance. With an unpaid loan, the unpaid part of it stays locked in the business cash. It can
still be spent on vehicles, repairs and workers.
Every invoice and loan must be paid first, and BusinessOwnership.allowClose must be true. The business cash goes
to the owner's bank, plus closeRefundRate of the purchase price.
The chat keeps the last 50 messages in memory only, so it starts empty after the resource restarts.
Copy a route of the same loading type in Config.Routes, give it a new unique id and change the coordinates.
See Loading types. Never change the id of an existing
route, the dispatch history depends on it.
Set setr ox:locale "tr" (or another code) in server.cfg. See Locales.
Download the new version, replace the folder and keep your config files. New columns are added on their own. Check the changelog for any new options or SQL changes.
